Newborn Retainer
The best time for newborn portraits is within the first 4 weeks after birth. This is when they are most sleepy and cooperative for posing. Before your baby is born you will want to secure a spot ensuring that Sarah Kane will have dates to offer you within the first four weeks. You won't schedule the actual session date until your baby arrives. If your baby has already been born please contact Sarah Kane directly with baby’s date of birth for availability.
A $100 non-refundable retainer fee is required to reserve a spot for a newborn session. This is not an additional fee and will be deducted from the total balance. The retainer fee is to ensure Sarah Kane Photography will have dates available within the first 4 weeks after your baby is born.
SLEEPY STUDIO PORTRAITS - posing of baby naked, wrapped, props etc. These all take place in Sarah Kane’s studio located in South Chesterfield.
For all sessions Sarah will take more images than are included and send you a series of proofs to select the final images for editing. Each image is custom edited. Turn around time for edited images is approximately 7 - 10 business days from when you make your final selection.
Please note: If all spots are filled please email Sarah Kane to be added to the wait list. When babies arrive early or late Sarah Kane may have last minute openings.

Baby Only Full Experience - $775
Photographing of baby only (no parents or siblings)
All posing included

2 hour session (depending on the needs of the baby)

Parents and Baby Mini STUDIO Experience $675
Photographing of parents & 1 sibling with baby and baby alone
Includes 3 prop setups with baby wrapped
Wrapped and prop posing only (no beanbag/naked posing)
60 - 90 minute session
10 high-resolution digital images with printing rights
Use of props (hats, headbands, buckets, baskets etc)

Baby ONLY Mini STUDIO Experience $499
Photographing baby alone

In - home STUDIO Posing Experience - $1,500
(best within the first 1-4 weeks of birth)

Sarah Kane will bring her studio to your home for newborn posing along with select props. Parent and siblings portraits will be more lifestyle in nature.
