I can honestly say, without hesitation, that photography has truly changed my life! I absolutely LOVE what I do. I love meeting so many amazing new people, I love capturing a family's love, a child's smile (or devilish grin). I love being able to be creative every single day! I love making my own schedule and knowing that all of my hard work does pay off. Running my own business is an every day challenge and I've been faced with many obstacles, but it is also so rewarding and fulfilling and I couldn't imagine doing anything else.

I love when photoshoots take me to new and interesting places! When home builders, Perkinson Homes, asked me to photograph their team in the gorgeous TARA model located in the highly sought after Hallsley community in Midlothian VA I was so excited! This home was a stop on the HOMEARAMA tour in 2016. The pictures I saw, which were pretty impressive, did not even come close to accurately portraying just how truly spectacular this home was in person!

You never know what to expect during a cake smash session. Every child's reaction is different and not all babies are ready to dive head first into a cake as was the case for this sweet little guy. He investigated, got his hands a bit dirty and that was enough for him! Even though it was one of my cleaner cake smashes I don't think anyone can argue that these are not among the cutest pictures they've ever seen!
