I love when people aren't afraid to step outside of the box and taylor their wedding, not to fit in with the norm, but to truly reflect who they are as a couple. My own wedding was far from traditional consisting of a murder mystery weekend and Karaoke. When I met with Rachael for the first time and I learned that their wedding was going to be at the Edgar Allen Poe Museum in Richmond I was very excited!

Meet Sweet Baby Brody everyone! This sweet little newborn was brought into this world on October 5th, 2015 at 6:01 pm. He weighed just 6 lbs 12 oz. Brody was brought to the studio by Mom, Dad and big brother Cameron. Brody is very fortunate to have such a loving family and best big brother ever! Cameron was the perfect little gentleman the whole time he was in the studio! Thank you so much Napolitano family for allowing me to photograph your family during this time in your life that will be gone so quickly!

Fall is here and the family portrait season has begun! I had a wonderful time photographing and creating memories with the Schlueter Family at The Carillon! Their two little girls were so sweet. The one thing I miss most about teaching is working with kids and I am so thankful that photography allows me to do this. I've always loved being around kids and did quite a bit of babysitting when I was younger.

Two of the biggest struggles I’ve faced in my life is over coming shyness and finding confidence in myself. I’ve learned over the years that the two go hand in hand. Some may call me an introvert and I do exhibit many of the characteristics, but one could also argue that I am an extrovert. I’ve never been one for labels, so I’m not really too concerned about figuring it out!
