When Should We Book a Session?
The first step before your baby arrives is to reserve your spot in Sarah Kane’s schedule. This will ensure that she will have availability for you within the first four weeks after your baby’s birth, when they are usually the sleepiest and most cooperative for photos. Sarah has limited the number of newborn sessions to ensure she can accommodate everyone. If your baby has already arrived, please reach out to Sarah for any last-minute openings.
When Do We Schedule The Actual Session?
As soon as you're on your way to the hospital or before you leave with your new baby, please reach out to Sarah Kane to inform her of the baby's arrival. This will help her reserve dates for scheduling within the first four weeks. Some parents opt to delegate this task to a trusted friend or family member.
The earlier Sarah is notified, the more date options you'll have to choose from.

Newborn Session In The Cottage Green

Cottage sessions are $1,200 | 60 - 90 minutes | 20 fully edited digital images
Maternity & Newborn Discount

Where Is The Studio?
Sarah Kane’s studio is located in S. Chesterfield off of Iron Bridge Rd. Very close to 288.
What If We Want More Images Than Included In The Session?
Sarah Kane will take more images than included in each session. A series of unedited proofs will be emailed allowing clients to select which images they would like. Additional images may be purchased a la carte.
How Long Before We Receive Proofs And Edited Images?
Proofs are typically delivered in about 1 week of the session. Final edited images are typically completed within 10 business days.
Will The Proofs Be Available To Download?
No. Only edited images will be available to download.
Is There An Additional Session Fee?
There is NOT an additional session fee. In order to reserve a spot a non-refundable retainer fee of $100 is required. This is not an additional fee and will be deducted from your final balance which is due on or before your session date.
