This is one of my favorite locations for a maternity photography session! I spent a great deal of time scouting for the perfect location for water maternity photoshoots and I happened upon this little oasis! I’ve had other photographers and potential clients ask where this is and I’ve politely let them know that this one is my secret place reserved only for myself and clients!
Not only did I find a great spot for water maternity portraits, but the rest of the area is simple and very beautiful with amazing light! People often get hung up on what the backdrop of a location looks like and often don’t take into account light. Lighting is everything! You can have the most breathtaking backdrop, but if the light isn’t good then the image is going to be mediocre. The two have to work together, good light and a pretty backdrop makes for the most beautiful maternity portraits!
