When it comes to family portraits, there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. Each family has its own story to tell, its own personality to express, and its own vision for how they want to be captured in a photograph. As a Richmond, Virginia photographer, I’ve had the privilege of working with many families over the years to create portraits that reflect who they are at that moment in time. This year, one particular family decided to try something new and embraced a more formal look while still keeping the charm of an outdoor setting.
As a professional photographer serving the Greater Richmond, Virginia area, I’ve had the privilege of capturing countless family milestones over the years. One of my most rewarding experiences is watching families grow, especially when I have the chance to photograph the same family year after year. This is exactly the case with a family of five I’ve had the honor of working with for the past six years.
