Everyone knows the amount of history that Richmond VA holds, but what you may not know is that Richmond also has an amazing art scene with so much culture and diversity. I was thrilled when this gorgeous mama-to-be wanted something different for her maternity session. Richmond’s Mural Project brings so much life to the city and was a perfect choice for this new life coming into the world! Richmond has over 100 murals that remind us of the cities history and culture. Artist come from all over the globe sharing their talents with our great city! As a photographer I am always observing my surroundings and I love that everywhere I look in Richmond I see bright vibrant colors and so much creativity. Although I have a great studio space this amazing city offers so many amazing backdrops for maternity and all portraits!
Others may see weeds a parking lot filled with dead grass and weeds, but this is what I see.
