I love when photoshoots take me to new and interesting places! When home builders, Perkinson Homes, asked me to photograph their team in the gorgeous TARA model located in the highly sought after Hallsley community in Midlothian VA I was so excited! This home was a stop on the HOMEARAMA tour in 2016. The pictures I saw, which were pretty impressive, did not even come close to accurately portraying just how truly spectacular this home was in person!
The Perkinson family is very special to me because I have been photographing their family for several years now. They are a kind, down-to-earth and wonderful family! Speaking of wonderful this year Perkinson homes will not only have their Homestead model featured on the 2017 HOMEARAMA tour in Midlothian's newest neighborhood of NewMarket Estates, but they have donated a miniature Homestead model outdoor playhouse!! This custom built playhouse with a working chandelier, real hardwood floors and comes fully furnished is being raffled off to raise money for ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation. How amazing is that! Anyone can purchase tickets, you do not need to attend the HOMEARAMA. You better hurry though, only 750 tickets will be sold. I've already got mine! I'm telling you too, if I win this playhouse there is no way it's going to my kids! This will be my little back yard get away ;) Even if you don't win, the cost of your ticket is helping raise money for childhood cancer and that alone is worth purchasing a ticket, but someone has to win so...Oh yeah, and if you live within 2 hours of 23112 (Midlothian) the house will be delivered to you!
