Parents are always worried that their children are not going to cooperate for family portraits. I tell them to stop worrying bceause if you have a toddler, unless they are an exception, that there is no chance they are going to cooperate so why worry about it? When you have toddlers and young children you have to be realistic about who they are. If your child is very active and has a big personality why on earth would you want me to capture them sitting perfectly still like a little statue? My goal is to capture your family's true nature, so when your children are grown and you look at your pictures you are taken back in time remembering how precocious and rambunctious they were and how much you loved them for it. I've had to embrace this reality with my own family portraits, bceause my kids are anything but cooperative. This beautiful family embraced their kids for who they are and I wouldn't have wanted this session to have gone any other way!
Life moves quickly. Kids change in what feels like the blink of an eye—one season they’re holding your hand everywhere you go, and the next they’re running ahead with confidence.
Booking a fall family portrait session creates a beautiful yearly touchpoint, giving you:
🍂 Updated portraits for your home
🍂 A visual record of your children growing and changing
🍂 A time to come together and reconnect
🍂 A meaningful family tradition your kids will remember
