Isn't this mama-to-be just gorgeous! Can you believe she said she wasn't comfortable in front of the camera? Could have fooled me! We couldn't have asked for better weather and when we arrived at Meadow Farm Park there was an amazing surprise waiting for us! The sheep were out grazing! It was perfect. I've only been there one other time (for a photoshoot) when they were out and it was also a maternity session. We were all so excited to see them. They really added a special touch.

I know what you're thinking, no this isn't Mariah Carey's sister! Doesn't she look just like her? If you didn't see it at first I bet you see it now! I love the picture above for so many reasons. Nicole looks amazing and you can't even tell that she is not a fan of standing in tall grass, or bugs, or snakes or whatever else is living in there, but in she went and it was so worth it!!

I like couples that take a risk and these two are definitely risk takers! With days of never ending and despite all odds Devon and Cam decided they would take a chance and hope that the rain held out long enough for their session. After about 20 minutes at Maymont the rain came in fast and left just as quickly. We hid under the porch of the mansion and waited it out. Once things cleared up the sun came out and everything was so vivid and beautiful! I cannot wait to meet their baby who is scheduled to make her appearance on June 20th!

It makes me happy to do unexpectedly kind things for people. One of my favorite things to do is to pass out my 20% off coupons at Bed Bath & Beyond while waiting in line. I have way too many coupons and it is no sacrifice to share them with others. Another snowy day here in the Richmond area and that means another chance for a very beautiful and unique maternity shoot! Just last week I photographed Crystal & Jeremy's maternity session at The Carillon and you can't even tell by looking at the pictures that they were taken in the middle of winter! There's no doubt with these images those! As luck would have it Crystal & Jeremy happen to live right around the corner from me (literally) and stopped by for a few quick pictures in the snow!
