Sarah Kane Photography LLC Terms & Agreements - Events

Payment & Cancellation Policy

All sales are final. If a client cancels or is a no-show, no refund will be issued for money paid.

Punctuality Policy

All parties being photographed must arrive on time. The session will begin at the agreed-upon time and will last for the duration stated on the client’s invoice. If additional time is required to complete all headshots, the fee stated on client’s invoice will be applied for each additional 30 minutes.

Turnaround Times

Final Edited images could take up to 3 weeks for delivery based on the number of images and Sarah Kane Photography’s workload.

Rush delivery options are available:

3 business day turnaround (additional fee)

7 business day turnaround (additional fee)

If an event ends after 3:00 PM the business day will begin on the following business day.

Gallery Expiration Policy

Final online galleries will include an expiration date.

If the client fails to download their images before the expiration date, a $50 fee will be required to extend the gallery for 6 months.

Once a gallery expires, Sarah Kane Photography LLC cannot guarantee image retrieval. Images are retained for up to (1) year, but retrieval after expiration is not guaranteed.

Guarantee of Specific Images

Due to the organic nature of photography—especially with young children—specific poses or images cannot be guaranteed. Sarah Kane Photography LLC will always strive to deliver a beautiful gallery within the natural flow of the session.

Client Responsibility for Digital Images

Once digital images are delivered, the client assumes full responsibility for storing and safeguarding their files. Sarah Kane Photography LLC is not responsible for lost, deleted, or damaged images and is not obligated to replace them.

Clients are strongly encouraged to back up files in multiple locations and refresh backups every six (6) months.

Editing & Additional Fees

All final images include professional editing for color, exposure, skin smoothing,

minor blemish removal, teeth whitening, minor hair cleanup.

Additional edits will incur extra fees based on the amount of work required.

Edits not included (but not limited to):

Wrinkled clothing

Clothing malfunctions

Dirty clothing, shoes, or faces

Band-aids, stickers, tattoos, or marker drawings

Makeup corrections

Requested head swaps

Object removal

Copyright & Usage Rights

All images remain the copyrighted property of Sarah Kane Photography LLC. The photographer retains the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use images for editorial, trade, advertising, and promotional purposes, in any medium, with or without alteration.

Privacy Requests

Clients who wish to keep their images private must type “KEEP IMAGES PRIVATE” in the photo release section.

Liability Release

By booking a session and submitting payment, the client agrees to waive, release, and hold harmless Sarah Kane Photography LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, agents, and representatives from any and all claims related to injury, illness, death, or property damage arising from the session or related products.
