I was bundled up and still felt the cold, so I can’t even imagine how this mama-to-be felt standing out there with grace and patience. Despite the frigid temperatures, this couple showed up with smiles and warmth, handling the cold like absolute champs. Their connection and excitement for this next chapter made the entire session feel cozy, even when the weather was anything but.
This maternity session was especially meaningful because of the location. We photographed at Lake Side Estate by Waverly, a place that holds deep sentimental value for the couple, it’s where they were married. Returning to such a special spot to document another milestone in their journey made the session even more emotional and beautiful. There’s something incredibly powerful about capturing moments where love stories continue to unfold.
