This gorgeous mama came in with a vision, an energy, and an outfit lineup that honestly had me a little speechless. Photographing her was pure joy from start to finish, and I cannot wait to share a peek at this stunning session from my Chesterfield, Virginia studio, serving families throughout the Richmond area including Glen Allen, VA.

From the very first frame, this session had its own electric personality. She brought a sequined ivory blazer that caught every beam of studio light, layered pearl necklaces that gave a serious vintage glamour, and my personal favorite, a pair of crisp white Nike’s that perfectly balanced the elegance with an effortless, confident cool. Red lips. High ponytail. Aviator sunglasses. This mama did not come to play.

I loved every single pose she brought to the floor. Whether she was lying stretched across the studio floor, sitting perched on the white cube with her foot propped up and sunglasses tilted just so, or kneeling on the floor with her jacket sliding off her shoulder, every single frame told a story of a confident, radiant woman fully embracing this incredible season of life.

I genuinely loved how invested she was in making this session her own. She had thought through every detail — her accessories, her looks, her energy. As a photographer, there is nothing more exciting than a client who shows up fully present and ready to have fun. The moment she started playing with her ponytail and serving looks at the camera, I knew we were creating something truly special together.

The neutral tones of the nude bodysuit and fishnet tights paired beautifully against our warm olive studio backdrop, and the shimmer of that sequined blazer added just the right amount of drama. We explored floor poses, seated poses on the cube, kneeling and full length standing shots, and she absolutely killed every single one.
