There is nothing I love more than working with newborns and their families. These early days move fast, and I feel so lucky to be invited into this time to create newborn photos that families will always have.
This sweet baby was calm and relaxed throughout the session. We kept things simple and focused on soft textures, gentle colors, and natural details. I love putting colors together in a way that feels clean, warm, and timeless. From the wraps to the floral headpieces, every detail was chosen to work together without being distracting.

During newborn portrait sessions, I follow the baby’s lead. Some babies love being wrapped and cozy, others stretch out more, and some give us the sweetest little expressions. Every baby is different, and that’s what makes each session unique.

These newborn pictures were taken in my studio in Chesterfield, VA, just outside of Richmond, Virginia. My goal is always to create a calm, comfortable space so parents can relax and enjoy the process while I focus on their baby.

There is something incredibly special about photographing newborn twins—twice the tiny fingers, twice the sleepy smiles, and a bond that’s already beautifully evident from the very beginning. These two baby girls were truly a dream to photograph here in the studio, and sessions like this are a reminder of why I love what I do so much.
