There is something truly magical about a baby’s first year. The way they go from that tiny, sleepy newborn bundle to a curious, laughing, almost toddler who is suddenly on the move and taking the world by storm. This girl’s mama knew she wanted to capture this milestone in a way that was as sweet and beautiful as her little girl, and we could not have had more fun making that happen.
From the moment she arrived at the studio, it was clear this little lady had personality for days. We could not get enough of her smile.
This dreamy pink tulle gown with delicate embroidered florals was absolutely made for her. She wore it sitting among scattered garden roses, standing tall, and laughing in close up portraits that show off every detail of her little face. The soft pink bow in her curly hair was the perfect finishing touch.

We love a good monogrammed bib moment, and her embroidered birthday bib worn over her sweet pink long sleeve was beyond cute. Paired with white knee socks, Mary Jane shoes, and a bold hot pink bow, this look had all the classic baby charm we adore. She posed in a little white rocking chair and also stood on her own, showing off just how much she has grown.

We ended this session with a fun, casual mauve onesie, and a crisp white bow. This laid back look let her playful personality shine, she grabbed her little toes, flashed her gummy grin, and reminded us exactly why we love photographing one year olds.
One is fleeting. We know every parent has heard it a thousand times, but it is so very true, the chubby wrists, the wobbly first steps, the way they still curl into you like the baby they just were.
